| Holiday Absences there is never a celebration where a presence isn't missed whether an empty chair or a space in our hearts there is the wistfullness and wishfullness for the someone not sitting beside us. somehow, reaching into memory for the presence seems hollow and makes the space that much larger. try to reach farther within past memory to appreciation. notice the parts of them within yourself, gifts that will be there forever. notice their being in those that surround you and know that they never really left. |
